On October 10, 2018, the Planning Commission completed an initial draft of the Master Plan and referred it to City Council for consideration. At the October 17, 2018 regular meeting of the City Council, Resolution 2018-13 was approved, authorizing the release of the draft Master Plan for public comment. The Michigan Planning Enabling Act requires the City to allow a minimum of 63 days for the receipt of public comments, before holding a public hearing on the adoption of the revised Master Plan. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled to take place at the January 9, 2019 Planning Commission meeting, at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall.
