West Street and Adrian Street will be completely reconstructed beginning at South Street, with all asphalt removed to the base. An existing 4-inch water main will be abandoned and all water services will be reconnected to an existing 12-inch water main. Storm sewers will be installed and concrete curb will be added to the road edges. Sidewalk will extend along Adrian to the Maumee Street intersection. Residences with galvanized water services will receive copper services into the home.

New 8-inch water main will be installed on the south side of Liberty Street and the north side of Franklin Street. All water services will be connected to the new mains; residences with galvanized water services will receive new copper services into the home. The asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt top coat applied.

Water main work begins on Liberty Street the week of August 19th. Franklin will be next. Utility work on West and Adrian will follow. Paving of all streets will take place last.

The project is expected to be complete by late November. Please note that construction is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.

Local vehicle access will be maintained. There will be intermittent disruptions to street and driveway access due to underground utility work and paving and concrete installation. Concrete can take several days to cure; asphalt takes several hours to cool and set. The contractor is expected to provide appropriate notification and will coordinate interruptions with residents.

Trash and recycling collection, as well as yard waste collection will be maintained throughout the project. Collection times may vary from typical; place at street the evening prior for collection. U.S. Mail service and emergency vehicle access will be maintained, as well.
